The economic employer concept was introduced in Sweden in 2021 but has been applied in several other countries for many years. For companies with mobile personnel it is crucial, for proactive actions to be aware of which countries who apply the concept, since this steers tax liability and reporting obligations.
Due to this our global cooperation partner Taxand have recently published “The Economic Survey”, a survey on Economic employer 2022, which is an update of previous survey posted early 2021.
